This property in Picton, just a stone’s throw away from Wollongong in the Illawarra, had an existing structure that was run down and needed some TLC, so the client decided to give the backyard a makeover. The team at Signature Pergolas and Decks set to work on removing the existing structure and replaced it with a modern classy double Gable Structure.
The posts used are 190mm x 190mm Merbau Timber Posts with an engineered steel structure in the colour Gloss White, finished with Modern V- Groove Roof Sheets with Slate Grey Topside and a Gloss White Underside. This Pergola has added an enormous amount of Elegance and Modern touch to this home and would be perfect for any property located in the Illawarra, Shellharbour or Sutherland Shire to enjoy those balmy coastal summer nights outside.
The customer also wanted the front verandah posts replaced to match the new merbau post at the rear of the house. These were 140mm x 140mm Merbau Timber Posts and really help to tie the whole project all together from front to back.
